Audit Associate / Junior Vp

A successful multinational Bank is seeking to employ an Audit Junior VP or Audit Associate to join their team. The purpose of the job is to support the team in providing independent assurance services designed to add value and improve the company’s operations by bringing a systematic approach to evaluate and the effectiveness of governance, control and risk management processes against regulations and the company standards and to recommend improvements.

Responsibilities:

• In-depth knowledge of the relevant laws and regulations applicable to ING Americas. Continuously monitor the risks and controls developments in these areas.
• Provide coaching on the job and develop talents.
• Independently lead and/or contribute to the planning, execution and reporting process of (complex) audits. Perform high quality audit work as well as supervise the work performed by other audit team members.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.

Skills and requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience in Banking and/or Audit and Internal Control
• Qualifications: Academic degree in the fields of Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar. Possession of an audit or comparable certification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIA) or a willingness to work for one on hiring

Salary Range: $136,000 - $165,000 per annum.
