Overview Premium Audit Associate is responsible for conducting audits of insurance policies to ensure that the premiums charged are accurate and in compliance with the policy terms. They review policy documents, interview policyholders, and review financial records to determine the correct premium amount. They also provide recommendations to the insurance company on how to improve the accuracy of their premium calculations. Detailed Job Description Premium Audit Associates are responsible for conducting audits of insurance policies to ensure that the premiums charged are accurate and in compliance with the policy terms. They review policy documents, interview policyholders, and review financial records to determine the correct premium amount. They also provide recommendations to the insurance company on how to improve the accuracy of their premium calculations. Premium Audit Associates must have a thorough understanding of insurance policies and the ability to interpret and analyze policy documents. They must be able to identify discrepancies between the policy terms and the premium charged. They must also be able to communicate effectively with policyholders and insurance company personnel. Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in insurance auditing
• Professional certification in insurance auditing (preferred)
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of insurance policies and regulations
• Knowledge of auditing principles and practices
• Knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles
• Knowledge of data analysis and reporting techniques
Job Experience
• At least 3 years of experience in insurance auditing
• Experience in conducting audits of insurance policies
Job Responsibilities
• Review policy documents to ensure accuracy of premium calculations
• Interview policyholders to verify information
• Review financial records to determine the correct premium amount
• Provide recommendations to the insurance company on how to improve the accuracy of their premium calculations
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to the insurance company
