The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic professional to lead training and leadership development for our association.
The Director provides leadership in the identification and implementation of best practices for employee onboarding and retention, leadership and training programs, staff development, and engagement for the YMCA of Greater Richmond. Oversees departmental functional area of training and staff development and has primary responsibility for the Association Learning Management System. Must be able to lead and contribute in a team environment, manage change, and provide strategy for long-term perspectives.

Qualifications
A bachelor's degree is highly desirable with a minimum of five years' experience in training and development. Applicants should also have excellent oral and written communication abilities; multi method presentation expertise; organizational, problem-solving, and advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and other applications. The successful candidate will have experience working in a multi-location environment and have knowledge and confidence to influence and develop others effectively. This position requires an understanding of and a commitment to the YMCA mission and cause.

- Advances leadership strategies to include the planning and development of special programs such as, but not limited to, peer coaching and Emerging Leaders' cohorts.
- Implement and ensure comprehensive processes and programs for leadership development process incorporating best practices including, but not limited to, team training plans, peer and mentor programs, emerging leader cohorts, and job career paths.
- Managing coaching and mentoring programs, and training plans for employees.
