The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking an Associate SLS Program Management Support located in Kennedy Space Center, FL.


Position Responsibilities Include:


  • Supports and coordinates Day of Launch activities including communicating and organizing personnel support for Integrated Tests, Simulations, Rehearsals, Launch and Mission operations
  • Occasionally works outside of normal business hours to support statement of work including Launch support activities
  • This position is expected to be 100% onsite initially. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Kennedy Space Center. Hybrid may be considered at a later date.
  • Coordinates domestic and international business travel, monitors traveler logistics, generates expense reports, and reconciles corporate credit card charges to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with internal customers, external customers, co-workers and peers
  • Works under minimal supervision
  • Monitors, tracks and records data activity to provide visibility
  • Support work and task tracking using JIRA and develops projects using Microsoft Project
  • Creates, edits, and maintains electronic and written communication
  • Primary focal for Conference rooms in the Processing Control Center building
  • Participates in maintaining, analyzing and producing documents related to communicating Performance to Plan (metrics/PMR/MMR/Award Fee), drafting and tracking of recovery plans and documenting risks, issues, and opportunities in BORIS
  • Organizes morale, recognition, service anniversary, retirement and other events in support of SLS KSC Leadership
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality with sensitive information and while working under tight and often competing deadlines
  • Assists in planning, coordinating, and implementing logistics for visiting Executives and Senior Leaders to Kennedy Space Center
  • Coordinates with the appropriate focal(s) to support the acquisition and maintenance of resources
  • Primary focal and approver of KSC access badge and area access
  • Request and track access for people/badging/area access in NAMS, NBAR, BSB and access to sensitive data sources
  • Coordinates and facilitates important or sensitive communications on behalf of the organization and management
  • Processes and screens incoming and outgoing communication and correspondence to ensure proper dissemination of information
  • Manages office environment including ordering of office supplies and inputting and tracking service and safety requests in Maximo and Enablon
  • Processes requests for facilities equipment and computer needs in GSEP, Computing Services Portal, SAP Ariba and other systems
  • Performs data compilation, analysis, review and administrative tasks that support the operation of the organization
  • Manages the Leaders’ schedule in close coordination with the First Line Leaders and team leads
  • Compiles data from various sources. Creates drafts and final documents using multiple software tools


This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.


The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.
  • 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelors Degree or higher.
  • Experience coordinating and processing business travel arrangements utilizing Concur or a similar travel and expense management program; generating expense reports for business travel and reconciling corporate credit card charges to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement.
  • Experience providing administrative support to multiple customers such as vice presidents, directors, and managers.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 1+ years of experience in partnering with executives to develop and manage the operating rhythm/cadence for executive leadership teams.
  • 1+ years experience working in a fast-paced digital environment and prioritizing multiple tasks within schedule and budget constraints.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:

Summary pay range: $68,850 – $93,150
