Duties


As a Management & Program Analyst, you will serve as a senior analyst or advisor to supervisors and high-level management on major mission or various program operations and activities. This position starts at a salary of $116,393.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $151,308.00 (GS-14, Step 10) with promotion potential to $151,408 (GS-14 Step 10). Standard work assignments may include: Directing, implementing, coordinating, and overseeing a variety of a department-wide mission or administrative program that directly impact Air and Marine Operations Developing, planning, conducting and participating in relevant studies; personally or through team members, providing advice to supervisor and high-level managers and developing and evaluating policies in assigned program areas, and providing assistance to headquarters and field offices Taking or recommending actions to achieve organization objectives, and recommending future program objectives and improvements This position is a temporary appointment (not-to-exceed 1 year) with a possible extension one additional year under a part time work schedule and a second one-year extension under an intermittent work schedule. An intermittent work schedule means employment is without a regularly scheduled tour of duty. Selectee is only paid for actual hours worked. Appointments made under this announcement are limited to 1,040 hours (six months) in a service year and may be terminated at any time.
