Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field or major coursework in project management, plus four (4) years of related work experience;
- Graduation with an associate degree from an accredited college or university, plus six (6) years of related work experience.

- Supports the City of Austin's Project Connect NEPA response
- Develops processes to disseminate, track, and collect the appropriate Project Connect information to and from City stakeholders.
- Provides research and planning advice on Project Connect issues related to Urban Planning, Housing, Economic Development, Sustainability, Real Estate, Parks, and/or Transportation.

- Experience coordinating with multiple departments and stakeholders.
- Proficient with GIS including the ability to analyze data, create presentations, and import and export data.
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws and ordinances related to environmental regulations, land use, transportation, and housing in Austin.
- Experience with the National Environmental Policy Act ( NEPA ) including Environmental Assessments (EAs) and Environmental Impact Statements (EISs), and other processes related to capital project implementation.
- Demonstrated knowledge and direct experience in urban planning, sustainability, transportation, equity, economic development, housing, or real estate development.
- Knowledge of local, state, & federal ( FTA ) planning / transportation regulations
- May provide leadership and/or supervision to assigned employees or project management.
- Ability to plan, execute, and control a project (establishing realistic estimates and reporting metrics).
- Ability to assess and analyze project risks and exposures; identify options and alternatives, make decisions, and implement corrective actions.
- Ability to resolve conflicts and difficult situations.
- Knowledge of budget policies and principles.
- Knowledge of project accounting and the principles/practices of project management.
- Ability to communicate in oral or written format to a variety of audiences.
- Knowledge of design principles, practices, and procedures; and estimating techniques.
- Skill in adapting, interpreting, and applying guidelines and standards.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external customers.
- Skill in completing projects within the required scheduling, and the ability to make prompt decisions and develop new and relative ideas for providing a quality product and quality customer service with little or no supervision.
