The Role?
We are looking for a Associate Manager, Logistics – International to join the OUAI team! This role will report to the Senior Manager, Fulfilment. This position will be critical in supporting the Operations team.
What You’ll Do:
The Associate Manager, Logistics – International will schedule and track all International OUAI freight IN and freight OUT shipments. This individual will partner with multiple freight forwarders negotiating various rates ensuring on time / in budget delivery. They will serve as the company expert on global freight status keeping the team informed on end to end freight lane leadtimes.
To succeed in this role, the individual should be highly organized, skilled in freight management with strong communication skills both with the internal team and in partnership with external 3PL’s and freight forwarders.

• Compare multiple freight rates, negotiate where needed and issue approvals based on cost & delivery requirements per shipment.
• Partner with 3PL to report lot code details for applicable International Sales Orders.
• Lead International freight IN shipment requests for Componentry & Finished Goods in partnership with Purchasing team.
• Maintain Freight Tracker in real-time detailing status of all shipments moving through the Supply Chain.
• Drive towards Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as a part of the vendor Scorecard focusing on the areas of Service, Quality, Cost & Leadtime.
• Manage end-to-end onboarding of new freight partners including cost and contract negotiation.
• Lead weekly Open Shipment meetings and participate in Quarterly Business Reviews with all freight partners.
• Establish Commercial Invoices, Free Trade Agreements, Shipper’s Letter of Instruction and any other documentation required to process International Sales Orders.
• Establish collaborative and transparent working relationships with key freight partners.
• Partner with Sales team to receive retailer approval and fulfill orders accordingly.
• Manage all International freight IN & freight OUT requests for Componentry & Finished Goods.
• Conduct daily review of 3PL Open Order Report to check status of orders pending/ready to ship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or other relevant fields preferred
• 2+ years’ experience in International shipment scheduling or freight network-related field
• Capability to multitask in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
• Able to lead cross-functional internal & external meetings
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office: Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook
• Intermediate NetSuite expertise preferred
