Job Description
Lime is the world's largest shared electric vehicle company. We’re on a mission to build a future where transportation is shared, affordable and carbon-free. Our electric bikes and scooters have powered 400+ million rides in 250+ cities on 5 continents, replacing an estimated 100+ million car trips. Named a Time 100 Most Influential Company and Fast Company Brand That Matters, we achieved a fully profitable year in 2022, becoming the first in our industry to reach this milestone.

Lime is seeking an Associate to join our Labor Growth team within Global Fleet Operations. The team owns processes related to acquiring, onboarding, training, and engaging the labor that supports Lime’s grassroots operations, including swapping batteries and rebalancing vehicles from low demand to high demand areas.

As our Associate, you'll play a crucial role in driving labor lead generation, acquisition, onboarding, and training. Your main customers will be Lime’s local operations teams and the external labor that partners with Lime to support operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic problem solver who can balance immediate operational needs with our long-term strategic vision. If you’re passionate about building, scaling, and being part of a forward-thinking organization, we'd love to hear from you.

As a remote-first company, we encourage applicants to work from anywhere we operate within the United States. However, this role should preferably be located within a reasonable distance of a Lime Warehouse due to occasional on-site requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Understand local market labor needs through data analysis and conversations with local operations teams; and work cross-functionally to identify solutions that ensure the successful integration of suitable labor and labor-related processes
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization, such as local operations, Product & Engineering, Business Analytics, Legal, and Insurance teams to resolve labor related difficulties.
  • Handle unexpected problems, particularly during high-demand seasons, in a hands-on manner
  • Spearhead labor acquisition, onboarding, and training for AMER-APAC markets
  • Oversee the fulfillment of labor needs for various markets to ensure smooth operations
  • Prepare labor training material and internal SOPs for local operations teams to socialize institutional knowledge regarding labor-related processes
  • Develop and implement processes to enhance operational efficiency; for example, designing and refining labor acquisition funnels, or working with the Legal team to ensure a smooth and speedy candidate experience during contract signing

About You

  • 0-2 years of experience in a startup environment
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and MS Excel; familiarity with SQL is an added advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a knack for creating processes from scratch
  • Proven experience in collaborating with external partners or vendors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-functional teamwork abilities
  • A strong interest in wearing multiple hats in a generalist capacity and a willingness to learn new tools and processes
  • Comfort in working with and analyzing data; for example, MS Excel formulas such as Vlookup, Index Match, Sumif, Countif, and building pivot tables

Preferred Experience

  • An overall team player with a generalist attitude and a willingness to solve different aspects of a problem
  • Proactive, energetic, and self-motivated, with a keen interest in learning new skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience with process improvement, irrespective of the industry

The anticipated salary range for this position is $62,000.00 - $89,000.00. Equity and benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, depending on the position offered. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications as well as the candidate's location of residence. In addition to base salary, some roles may be eligible for a variable bonus based on a combination of company performance, employee performance, and management discretion.
