Allergan Data Labs is on a mission to transform the Allergan Aesthetics beauty business at Abbvie, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. Our iconic brands include Botox, CoolSculpting, Juvéderm and more. The medical aesthetics business is ripe for rapid growth and disruption, and we are looking for an experienced Associate Director, Allē Business Strategy to add to our high performing team to do just that.


Our team has successfully launched a new and innovative technology platform, Allē, which serves millions of consumers, tens of thousands of aesthetics providers and thousands of colleagues throughout the US. Since its launch in November 2020, Allē has delivered curated promotions, personalized experiences and had millions of consumers use it as part of their beauty journey. Now, we are looking for an experienced business strategist to collaborate with cross functional teams and take a data driven approach in helping to shape & execute Allē Business Strategy to include new market expansion, product partnerships, and new strategic initiatives.

As an Associate Director of Allē Business Strategy, you will report to the Associate Director of Strategy in collaborating with senior stakeholders across the business to guide our Allē Business Strategy focused on aesthetics, consumers, and beauty service providers (providers).


You Will


  • Develop comprehensive, data-backed assessments and business cases to validate and prioritize strategic initiatives
  • Build relationships across the business and partner with Product, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Go to Market teams to drive cross-functional collaboration
  • Contribute to our business growth strategy using action-oriented, data driven decision-making processes
  • Define, analyze, assess and/or perform Total Available Market (TAM) and Serviceable Available Market (SAM) assessments for future business opportunities
  • Exhibit thought leadership by authoring documents and decks related to industry/technology trends, competitive landscape, and market insights
  • Pose questions, find the data, and conduct analysis to create growth initiatives that lead to measurable business outcomes
  • Convert analyses of product usage patterns, feature adoption, go-to-market performance, and customer churn into strategic, high-impact insights
  • Lead and/or conduct market research to identify service/product gaps, market trends/patterns, and articulate market opportunities
  • Help facilitate strategic planning, ensuring alignment to corporate strategy and activities


Required Experience & Skills


  • Strong track record in breaking down complex business problems and synthesizing multiple disparate sources of information into actionable insights
  • 10+ years of experience guiding strategy across product, marketing, sales and/or management consulting
  • Bachelor's degree


Preferred Experience & Skills


  • Business knowledge in areas of product management, software sales, and customer success
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and ownership
  • Proficiency in analytical tools including but not limited to Excel, SQL, Mixpanel, Tableau
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build trusted relationships, understand technical and nontechnical topics and drive effective decision making amid varying points of views

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
  • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.

Compensation Range (Minimum - Maximum)


$125,000—$238,500 USD
