Assistant Safety Manager - Remote | Wfh

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Site Safety and Assistant Health Manager for an exciting overseas project.
As the Site Safety and Assistant Health Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Safety and Health Program Manager. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and implementing the site Safety Program, as well as providing training to personnel on safety policies and procedures at the job site location. Your extensive knowledge of current Federal and OSHA requirements will be crucial for this role. Familiarity with the USACE EM 385-1-1 Safety and Health Requirements Manual is a must.
Requirements
US citizen with a willingness to travel abroad for 2-4 years.
Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance through the US Government.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in the field of Construction Safety.
Preferences
Possession or pursuit of a professional certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (CHST or higher).
Undergraduate Degree in a Construction or Safety related field.
Experience in Department of Defense or Department of State projects.
Familiarity with the EM-385.
Experience constructing and maintaining Accident Prevent Plans, etc.
Documented continuing education, certification, and accreditation.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Completion of EM 385 40 Hour Training Construction Safety Hazard Awareness Training Course.
