Assistant Manager, QVC
Tarte is seeking a new team member to join the Broadcast Retail team to support all day-to-day marketing, sales & on-air operations for QVC. This role will report directly to Director, Broadcast Retail & coordinate with internal & external cross functional teams to support retail sales strategies and broadcast logistics. The ideal candidate is a natural problem solver who is self-directed, detail oriented, flexible, extremely organized, and can multi-task & prioritize to meet deadlines.
Primarily based out of PA QVC headquarters with travel to tarte NYC office (dependent on business needs), & travel to tarte NJ studio. Flexible availability for all on-airs is required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with seasonal assortment planning for new product development & core
- Support sales reporting and analysis for business opportunities & profitability
- Provide retailer specific insight to internal cross-functional partners in marketing, social media, planning, product development, operations & education.
- Assist on all on-air logistics from the tarte side – including on-site prep, models, sound/light checks, studio set up, product, etc.
- Support Director on deliverables for QVC launch plans – including but not limited to influencer, assets, advertising, merchandising & online boutiques
- Support Director with overall marketing & broadcast needs for global QVC business.
- Coordinate with on-air talent to improve productivity & story-telling
- Liaise with account partners & internal teams as needed to execute all day-to-day business activities required to drive omni channel sales and make tarte retail sales forecast.
- Ongoing competitive research & understanding of what is winning within each retailer
- Based out of NYC office; Frequent travel to tarte NJ studio, & PA QVC headquarters, & flexible availability for all on-airs is required
- Coordinate with internal cross-functional partners to ensure timing of assembly & fulfillment for retailer shipments.
Requirements:
- Extreme attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects without sacrificing quality of work
- BA/BS required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience within prestige beauty, account management, sales or marketing
- Highly motivated with the ability to thrive and multi-task in a fast-paced, ever-changing workplace with high degree of ambiguity
- Proved analytical and project management ability with proficiency in Excel
- Must be a strong collaborator who can work effectively with key internal and external cross-functional partners
- In-depth knowledge of QVC operations & on-air requirements
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills
- In-depth knowledge of beauty industry
