Assistant Maintenance Supervisor - The Driscoll At River Oaks

Hanover Company is looking for an experienced Assistant Maintenance Supervisor for The Driscoll at River Oaks, a luxury high-rise apartment community in Houston. The 30-story development consists of 318 residential units on top of 10,000+ square feet of ground floor retail and restaurant space. The amenity package is among the biggest and most complete in the Houston market. The ground floor contains leasing offices, lobby lounge area, business center, mail room and retail space. The 8th floor features a fitness center, resident lounge, movie screening room, and dining rooms. The outside pool deck area on the same level has a swimming pool, cabanas, lawn areas, multiple outdoor grilling stations, outdoor dining and seating areas. The objective of the Assistant Maintenance Supervisor is to perform quality maintenance in a timely manner, perform periodic preventative maintenance programs and satisfy all reasonable maintenance requests. The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor is ultimately responsible for aspects of property management that include, but are not limited to the following:

• Complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Perform any and all duties called upon by supervisors to ensure that the property operates in an efficient and economic manner.
• Living within 30 minutes of the property is highly preferred. • Walk the property and report any liability problems immediately.
• Represent property and Hanover professionally through dress and behavior. Qualifications:
• Knowledge of general maintenance as well as repairs of HVAC, plumbing, appliances, electrical and pool equipment.
• Must have 2+ years of experience on an A+, new construction property, with knowledge in plumbing, electrical, carpentry and grounds maintenance.
• HVAC Certification is required and Pool Certification is a plus.
• Carry company issued mobile device when "on call" periodically.
• Assist in painting and shampooing of vacant units.
• Record all repairs.
• Follow all safety programs implemented by Hanover and according to policy.
• Own your own tools.
• Assist in maintaining grounds and pools.
• Assist in completing make-readies.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds. Lifting belt required.
