Maintenance Supervisor Jobs

This key position is responsible for the operation of all warehouse equipment, machinery and maintenance personnel. The individual will ensure safe and efficient operation of all equipment, perform scheduled preventative maintenance as planned; perform production equipment changeovers; troubleshoot pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical problems when needed; maintain proper records for maintenance, inventory of parts, and emergency repairs; ensure good housekeeping habits related to maintenance; train on equipment; and share ideas and other problems with the team.

• Ensure production and warehouse equipment are running safely and efficiently.
• Impacts retention by fostering a respectful team environment that supports workplace values through professional communication and timely problem solving.
• Work with vendors and suppliers for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and new equipment installation when applicable.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure SQF requirements are being met for machinery and equipment.
• Develop training materials and procedures for department.
• Develop staff for future opportunities by providing constructive feedback and writing and conducting performance reviews.
• Maintain department facility, training and regulatory logs and reports.
• Develop plans with action items to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department.
• Communicate effectively with outside and inside partners at all levels of the organization.
• Other duties/ projects as assigned.
• Assist in interviewing candidates as assigned.
• Manage daily activities of the maintenance team to ensure adequate coverage while meeting budgetary goals.
• Collaborate with operations teams to provide the level of service needed
• Assists in maintaining the security of the facility.

INDATL

• Education –Technical maintenance skill training in mechanized, electronic and/or automated technology
• 3-5+ experience with pneumatics and electrical systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Certifications in mechanized, electronic and automated technology preferred
• Ability to review and interpret technical drawings, PLC logic, One Line etc,
• Minimum of 5-7+ years supervisory experience in a similar environment
