Assistant Director-Managed, RMCC Americas

The Revenue Management Consolidated Center (RMCC) offers owned, managed, and franchise hotels world-class revenue management talent and tools. The team is responsible for helping hotels consistently grow market share and outperform our competitors.
What will I be doing?
Do you love driving performance, developing relationships, and leading a team? As the Assistant Director, RMCC, you will supervise a team of Revenue Managers and/or Managers and direct additional projects that support the RMCC-Americas objectives. You will accomplish this by developing the Managers and Revenue Managers, providing feedback and corrective action on hotel performance, communicating RMCC information to the workgroup, and directing additional RMCC projects. This position will report to the Director, RMCC Americas.
You will work with Revenue Managers, Revenue Analysts, Directors, and corporate support staff.
More specifically, you will:
- Influence your team to accomplish the organization's mission, goals, and objectives through motivation, communication, group dynamics, and leadership. You will lead project teams to achieve department initiatives and goals, as well as coordinate resources and collaboration across departments.
- Lead the development of direct reports in your workgroup by providing direction and offering feedback on the performance of their duties, as well as staffing activities. You will serve as a resource, with continuing efforts to streamline processes; fine-tune efficiencies; and assist others in developing their revenue management skills. This position assesses actual hotel performance for hotels in the workgroup to determine if hotels are on target to reach goals, taking corrective action with Revenue Managers where needed.
- Ensure communication from the RMCC VP and Directors is accurately implemented; distribute, coordinate, and communicate information, strategies, new programs, and assignments to direct reports and the hotels they support; and lead the cross-functional links between the hotel management teams, the RMCC, and support team.
- Analyze market share performance and communicate risks/opportunities to hotel partners on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis with quantitative data.

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
- High proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience handling hotel rates and inventory
- Proficient in Revenue Management systems, hotel property management systems, and industry-related reports
- Strong project management familiarity
- Two (2) years working in Revenue Management and in a supervisory role
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Multiple hotel Revenue Management experience
- BA/BS Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or equivalent OR three (3) years of Analytical experience within the Revenue Management, Data Management, Reservations, or Front Office Operations field
- Knowledge of our company's revenue systems
- Experience forecasting hotel room revenue weekly and monthly
- MA/MS/MBA Master's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics OR three (3) years of Hotel experience at a Manager and/or Director level with budget control experience
