Develop, integrate and execute a Fleet Safety strategy, policy, program, procedures, standards, training, processes and actions to manage applicable requirements

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

Establish a tracking and validation process for DOT compliance. Maintain all DOT licensing and reporting requirements

Partner and collaborate with the business units and support functions to influence and manage projects and business decisions

Manage regulatory agency and external stakeholder Fleet Safety activities, including reporting, visits, or inspections

Minimum 10 years of proven experience in fleet, facilities, and equipment management, with 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Develop and execute a comprehensive fleet management strategy, including vehicle acquisition, maintenance, and disposal, to meet operational needs and budgetary goals.

Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing team responsible for fleet, facilities, and equipment management.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Strong understanding of fleet management software, facilities management systems, and equipment maintenance tools.

In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to state and federal fleet safety, facilities compliance, and equipment maintenance.

· Knowledge of energy management, vehicle repair, and maintenance

· Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience

· Texas Association for Pupil Transportation Certification

· Ability to direct and manage operations of a large fleet of vehicles

· Ability to manage budget and personnel

· Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

7+ years experience in fleet management and maintenance

Excellent communication, interpersonal, management, negotiation, and business skills

Strong technical and managerial skills in fleet operations and maintenance

Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) Fire Apparatus Technician Level II Certification,

Thorough understanding of finance and accounting relating to the acquisition (purchase or lease) of vehicles, equipment, staffing, supplies, and materials

Working Knowledge of NFPA Standards.

Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, for leading pharmaceutical company/ies

Establish a management of change (MOC) and pre-implementation safety and risk assessment process

Act as liaison between city management and external suppliers, contractors, and safety agencies

10+ years of fleet purchasing and management

Knowledge of regulatory requirements (OSHA, DOT, EPA, etc.)

Strong analytical skills / experience

Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.

5-10 years of Analyst experience

Knowledge of Texas state tractor/trailer requirements

Public speaking and/or adult education experience

Knowledge of Federal Motors Carriers Safety Administration, Department of Transportation, and Compliance Safety Accountability (CSA) Program

Strong written communications, oral communications, and presentation skills

Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a team environment

Two years transportation safety experience

10 years’ experience in fleet management and experience leading teams

Experience in Fleet Asset Management required

Provide cost effective fleet management by identifying, evaluating and engaging rental and non-rental equipment supply vendors and service providers

Work with field fleet management teams to maximize efficiency of invested capital across the company rental and non-rental fleet

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fleet Management or relevant field, MBA preferred

Develop and manage systems and reports to ensure equipment utilization is maximized

• 10+ years of experience minimum.

• Experience working with electric fleets and the associated charging infrastructure.
