Are you enthusiastic about sales, where service and credibility are also paramount? If so, maybe you are our new Area Sales Manager in the North of England and North Wales?
MASCOT International Limited, is a UK wholly owned subsidiary of MASCOT A/S, one of Europe’s leading designers and manufacturers of workwear and safety footwear.
The role
Reporting to our UK Sales Director, your task is to develop the sales of MASCOT Workwear and safety footwear within MASCOT distributors in the North of England and North Wales.
The role is to open new MASCOT distribution channels, as well as working with existing MASCOT distributors by upselling and cross selling, along with presenting MASCOT products to end users, and then back selling through those distribution channels.
Our UK sales team currently consists of 13 people whom you will be working closely with, as well as our Customer Services Department, our Marketing Department, and our Shop in Shop Department.
Commercially driven profile
Young at heart with a strong work ethic, you are likely currently selling or have experience selling to independent PPE and workwear distributors, trade counters, tool stores and similar channels, as well as presenting to corporate end users. You are self-motivated and have a successful and reasonably current trading relationship with key people in these businesses.
Although you have longevity in your employment record, you now want to further develop your career with an organisation that is professional, ethical and award winning. Experience in workwear and footwear may not necessarily be key for the right person as comprehensive training will be given.
On a personal note you are a driven and energetic person, who enjoys working in a dynamic work environment. Your structured way of working enables you to maintain an overview and focus even when your days are busy. You are both capable of working and creating strong results on your own as well as being a strong team player.

The reward
The position comes with a competitive base salary and uncapped commission, as well as a bonus for achieving results. The position includes a fully expensed company car for business and private use as well as company pension scheme.
