Architectural Designer, Special Projects Design Team

If you are an Architectural Designer and believe in Building Relationships Based on Trust and Results - we need you! Position is located in Charlotte with hybrid flexibility. As part of the Special Projects Design team, you will work on larger, more complex projects in K2M's various market types.

Overview: An Architectural team member works independently, developing design or technical solutions under supervision of a Project Manager, Architect, Designer, Engineer and other staff in continued growth and education by performing the following duties.

Job Responsibilities:

• Writes reports and specifications.
• Draws finished designs from sketches.
• Prepares project specifications, compiling, and analyzing relevant data.
• Performs analysis of design, planning and occupancy studies, and limited design layouts.
• Continues to work towards completing the requirements of the Architectural Experience Program (AXP) for discipline.
• Provides assistance to project team as instructed by and under the direct supervision of the Project Manager or Architect, or Engineer.
• Uses design technology software to prepare project documents.
• Reviews completed reports, plans, estimates, and calculations.

• Position only available to candidates residing in Charlotte.
• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Architecture from a five-year NAAB accredited college or university.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit.
