Analyst, Risk Assurance & Vendor Management

Position Summary: The Risk Assurance and Vendor Risk Management Analyst is responsible for helping to ensure TCH effectively identifies and manages vendor and business process related risks. The role will assist with the execution of the vendor risk management life cycle including; onboarding, risk assessment, monitoring, and offboarding as well as assist with Enterprise-wide control testing activities, The role contributes toward the on-going improvement of TCH’s risk management practices. The Analyst must develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization, including Information Security, Legal, Enterprise Risk Management, Technology and Operations, and other business functions.

Qualifications Required:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical, technical and PC skills, e.g., Excel and PowerPoint
• Demonstrate good judgment
• Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment
• 2-3 years of experience in working in the financial services industry
• Bachelor’s degree or higher

Qualifications Desired:

• Demonstrated ability communicate effectively with various audiences at all levels of the organization including senior leadership
• Prior risk management, control testing or audit experience in the Banking/Finance industry or other similar function, ideally related to technology, information security or operational risk
• Experience working with GRC tools, e.g., Archer

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Manage reporting of vendor program related information
• Onboarding and off-boarding of vendors
• Respond to vendor management requests from TCH external customers
• Assist with execution of SOC audits, including coordination with internal stakeholders related to walkthrough meetings and evidence collection
• Support and execute control test validation by reviewing control testing deliverables
• Track and monitor testing submission and report on testing results
• Engage and assist control owners in conducting control testing across the Company
• Data compilation and synthesis for control testing themes, results, trends for reporting to control owners up to senior and owner bank management
• Manage vendor related data within GRC tool
• Conduct vendor risk assessments for TCH vendors
• Develop strong understanding of business processes impacting the vendor management function
• Help facilitate updates to the procedures, templates, and presentations
• Collect and review supporting documentation for potential and existing Third Parties

Physical demands and work environment: Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. Travel may be required.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000-$95,000. Base salary will be determined by the role, experience, skill set and location. For eligible positions, discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded contingent on personal and company performance.
