What You'll Do


As the Financial Analyst, Operations Finance, you will be a valuable member of the Operations finance team, responsible for financial analysis, reporting and planning supporting our business partners on the Finance, Product Development/Renovation and Manufacturing teams. This role will play an integral part within month end close activities, monthly cost card updates and other ad-hoc assignments. This individual will work closely with the Sr. Manager, Operations Finance to refine current reporting models and analyses as well as put in place new reports and analytical tools to support the business. The primary impact of this role will be to deepen the understanding of product sourcing & manufacturing decisions through reporting and tracking of cost variances.


  • Prepare actuals versus budget and prior year reporting for operations overheads cost. Complete month end analysis, including variance explanations, and share with Supply Chain Finance VP & Operations teams.
  • Maintain monthly Cost Variance reporting and present to finance & operations stakeholders, including VPs. Prepare commentary for significant variances and inform stakeholders.
  • Support Mfg QI/BI initiatives. Maintain tracker of all potential projects and report to finance & Operations teams.
  • Assist in productivity project ideation by identifying areas of opportunity for cost savings by utilizing knowledge of monthly product costs
  • Support planning activities including organizing & submitting financial into to JDE/Hubble.
  • Support accounting close via journal entries, reporting, and compiling slides for IBP driven discussions.
  • Work with internal Manufacturing teams as well as external co-manufacturers to develop monthly finished goods costing. Review costs for accuracy by doing comparisons versus prior month and budget.
  • Build monthly productivity summary and tracking. Report gross and net productivity roll up to Supply Chain Finance VP to share with broader operations team

You have...


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or related field
  • CPG of food manufacturing experience
  • Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, etc.) required.
  • Internship experience in Corporate Finance


The salary range for this role is $60,000 - 80,000 per year. Please state your salary expectations in your application. KIND intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the total rewards that KIND provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
