Requirements

We are looking for a process-driven individual who enjoys identifying data trends within a robust environment to improve operational efficiency. Our data analyst will report to our Chief Financial Officer and will assist in retrieving and gathering data, organizing it and using it to reach meaningful conclusions. This is a full-time employment opportunity working in our Headquarters office in Boca Raton, FL.

Qualifications:

In order to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following list of qualifications and responsibilities is not all inclusive, as each employee is expected to be a team player and may be assigned other tasks as necessary. This is meant to serve as an overview of the position description:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 1-3 years in a data analytics or related field
• Experience with one or more of the leading Business Intelligence tools, with a preference for direct experience with Tableau
• Must have a positive attitude, high energy, organized, excellent communication skills and be self-motived, take initiative and be solution oriented
• Advanced excel skills
• Experience with metadata and commercial relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, etc.
• Excellent attention to detail coupled with high demands

Responsibilities:

• Manage users and user roles
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize efficiency and quality
• Train end-users on new reports and dashboards
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
• Filter and "clean" data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Assess tests and implement new or upgraded software and assist with strategic decisions on new systems
