Analyst - Acquisitions Jobs

Our client is a real estate investment firm based in NYC and they are the owner/operator of one of the top 5 largest portfolios of student housing within the US. They are looking for an individual to join their acquisitions team as an Analyst.

Here is what's on offer:

• Ability to work on one of the largest portfolios of student housing within the US.
• Deal Exposure: This individual will have exposure to high deal flow that ranges from $20-200mil per deal.

Responsibilities:

• Review any documents for risks or issues associated with potential asset.
• Conduct financial analysis and create financial models/valuations to assist in evaluating the asset's income potential, historical and projected cash flows, operating expenses, and other metrics, such as cap rates, net operating income (NOI), and internal rate of return (IRR).
• Prepare and present presentations and reports to stakeholders.
• Analyze market trends by looking at supply and demand, demographic data, and evaluating the landscape.

Requirements:

1-3 years of experience in real estate acquisitions

Experience working with Excel required

On-site (5x a week) working requirement (office is in Manhattan)
