Underwriting And Asset Management Analyst

Cross Mountain Capital, a vertically integrated real estate developer with over $100M in assets under management, is looking for an analyst to support all aspects of the company's operation. The ideal candidate has a passion for real estate/investing, and some experience interning or previously working in finance, private equity or a real estate brokerage.

Representative Responsibilities

Asset Management & Investor Reporting

• Maintain Deals and capitalization tables in Appfolio Investment Management
• Assist with Monthly Investor Updates
• Weekly analysis of trends and metrics through our Asset Management Dashboard and custom analysis
• Review property related financials and generate a synopsis of results vs projections

Underwriting (Acquisitions/Dispositions)

• Assist with property due diligence
• Analyze new opportunities vs criteria to facilitate deal flow
• Respond to buyer/seller queries
• Assist with property insurance placement
• Assist with drafting Investment Memo’s for new deals

Capital Markets

• Support responding to lender and investor queries
• Provide analysis and liaison with debt and equity providers to facilitate deal execution

Key Growth Initiatives and Misc.

• Assist with ad hoc management initiatives
• Support brokerage operations at our affiliate 3GEN Real Estate
• Assist with incorporating AI throughout all aspects of operations

Qualifications

• Intermediate to Advanced excel skills. Ability to maintain and understand real estate valuation models such as RedIQ (will be provided)
• Previous experience working in finance, private equity or a real estate brokerage.
• Experience with property management software such as Appfolio or Yardi is a plus.
• Experience with generating AI prompts is a plus.
• Fast Learner and ability to execute quickly. Success in this business comes down to your ability to execute rapidly.
• Demonstrated interest in real estate through coursework or prior experience.

Salary, Benefits and Location

• Salary commensurate with experience starting at $80-100K base plus bonuses and equity.
• Position is remote flexible but based in Cross Mountain Capital’s NYC location in Midtown East (2-3 days in office expected)
