Business Overview:
- Focuses on introducing & connecting CEOs & CFOs at listed corporates to aid the investment process of key Portfolio Managers & Investment Analysts at the Institutional client base.
- Establishes relationships with clients to identify business needs & provide appropriate support from all areas of the bank.
- Sales promote the Bank’s Research analysts & research products to its Institutional client base with a view to servicing & maintaining a consistent dialogue with clients, driving improved results & developing the franchise.
- Analyses & interpreting investment products for different types of Institutional clients, using expertise & experience to help identify opportunities for to improve the client experience in working with the bank.
- Equity Sales utilizes knowledge of Equity Research Products, ECM & Syndicate plus the broader product areas of Prime Brokerage & Equity Derivatives to ensure understanding of client needs.

Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the Equity Research team to write up research reports & presentations to help the sales team
- Independently covers mid-tier client accounts where specific content & relationship coverage is required beyond execution needs.
- Work directly with the Head of US Equities Distribution & other members of the sales team covering Institutional clients.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- 1-2 Years of experience in Equity Sales
- Hands on experience in actively covering Hedge Funds & Mutual Funds
- Industry recognized licenses; Series 7, Series 63 as a minimum
- A relevant academic qualification eg College Degree

The expected starting salary range for this position in New York is between $105,000.00 to $115,000.00 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
