FocusPoint advises on all aspects of the fundraising process through private placements including: competitive positioning and market assessment, marketing materials, partnership terms and conditions, and investor relations. We incorporate a rigorous due diligence process to identify and select managers that perform consistently well throughout all market cycles. Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Undergraduate degree with a major in Finance or STEM
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Minimum 0 to 2 years of investment banking or private markets experience
• Strong quantitative, qualitative, and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional financial modeling and writing skills
• Must have a client focused mindset and not be afraid of long hours
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Must be self-aware and teachable with high integrity and professionalism
• High proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to multi task and work in a demanding fast paced environment

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain allocation models to analyze the firm’s budgeting for potential transaction fees
• Respond promptly to ad hoc requests from clients and internal sales team
• Prepare and review client presentations, cover emails, teasers, offering memorandums, LPAs
• Assist with qualitative and quantitative due diligence
• Manage client calendars, meetings, roadshows
• Conduct demand assessments
• Take detailed meeting/call notes
• Support Managing Director in all aspects of project management and capital raising advisory
• Conduct industry research and build out competitive landscapes
