Who We're Seeking
Run AMZ is in search of an accomplished Account Director who can lead and elevate our sporting and outdoor clients to triumph on Amazon. The Account Director will drive strategies and executions for a portfolio of clients, supported by Client Success Managers, Catalog Specialists, and other internal resources. Our ideal candidate thrives in orchestrating significant projects for enterprise-level entities, possesses a profound understanding of the retail realm, and envisions the holistic picture to steer clients towards flourishing both within and beyond Amazon. Additionally, the Account Director contributes to business development, welcoming qualified brands into our fold.
Your Responsibilities
π Oversee the complete P&L for the Sports and Outdoor category at Run AMZ.
π Chart the strategic course for our clients' Amazon endeavors, encompassing broader aspects of their business, and supervise the implementation process.
π Lead a team of Client Success Managers, who cater to day-to-day client requirements.
π Leverage existing connections and inbound strategies to bring fresh business to the S&O domain.
π Meet and surpass all predetermined quantitative and qualitative targets for each account.
π Consult top-tier levels of clients' organizations on Amazon best practices in line with their unique goals.
π Innovate and troubleshoot on a daily basis.
π Assume responsibility for account performance metrics, including sales, marketing, and inventory management.
π Serve as the go-to Amazon authority when interacting with clients, tackling challenges with confidence.
Traits Of Successful Candidates
β¨ A proven background (5+ years) in sales and/or marketing roles within consumer product companies β outdoor sector expertise is essential.
β¨ Hands-on experience (3+ years) directly with Amazon, boasting expert-level insights into both Seller Central and Vendor Central.
β¨ A comprehensive grasp of the Amazon ecosystem, coupled with its interplay with other trade channels (big box, e-commerce, independent retailers, distribution).
β¨ A trailblazer in driving transformative change, turning innovative concepts into tangible realities.
