Job Description
Company Overview:
FanGate Solutions is a customer service driven company here to provide live entertainment and sports venues with a professional team of trained event day staff. Our philosophy is to treat our client’s fans like our own with a knowledgeable, reliable, and fan friendly team. We are looking for eager, highly motivated, and friendly individuals aspiring to work in the sports and entertainment industry and are willing to travel.
Event Overview:
You will be working at the Rock The South in Cullman, AL. As an Event Intern at FanGate Solutions for this event, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in parking sales and gate scanning. Interns will receive training on: giving top notch customer service to exceed our client’s expectations and increase fans overall experience, ticket software training, fostering business relationships and defusing customer issues.
Responsibilities:
  • Punctual and self-motivated with an attention to detail
  • Represent FanGate Solutions and its clients in a professional and ethical manner
  • Provide & maintain the highest level of customer service to clients and guests
  • Aid guests with accurate game and promotional information
  • Selling and/or picking up event tickets at various venues
  • May be required to make outbound sales calls
  • Communicate all pertinent information with clients and guests
  • Closely adhere to the health and sanitation guidelines set by FanGate Solutions and its clients
  • Provide problem solving techniques to assist all customer inquiries and concerns
  • Work various shows & events that promote FanGate Solutions and its clients in a positive manner
  • Perform other duties & responsibilities as assigned by managers

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Eager to start & build a career in sports and live entertainment
  • Ticket sales experience is a plus
  • Must be 18 years of age or older with at least a high school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Ability to deliver exceptional service by anticipating the guests’ needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Willing to travel to local and/or out of state venues
  • Strong interpersonal skills that complement a team-oriented work ethic
  • College student majoring in advertising, marketing, sport management, or related fields is a plus
  • Must be neat and presentable at all times
  • Ability to work untraditional hours including weekends, evenings and some holidays

Pay and Schedule:
Pay is $12.00/hr.
Thursday, July 20th: 10:30a - 6p or 1p - 9p
Friday, July 21st: 10:30a - 6p or 1p - 9p
Saturday, July 22nd: 10:30a - 6p or 1p - 9p
