Event Staff Jobs

This is *NOT* a design, decorating or wedding planner position.

Our event staff work behind the scenes during an event, helping to take care of The Elms. The typical shift is 4:00 pm to 11:30 pm, but the times can vary. No partial shifts are available. Event Staff work *outdoors* and are responsible for moving chairs, emptying trash cans, keeping The Elms tidy, and supporting the Venue Manager during the event as needed. There are no housekeeping responsibilities, but Event Staff will be asked to sweep, clean up spills and collect empty plates & cups, as needed.
Uniform: The Elms will provide a uniform shirt that you will put on when you arrive and take off before you leave. We will take care of washing it and having it ready for you next time. Event Staff must wear clean, comfortable, closed-toe shoes in good condition, such as sneakers.

The following are job requirements for all positions at The Elms:

• Able to repeatedly lift and move up to 50 pounds by yourself
• Able to be on time or early for every single shift - this is critical.
• Enjoys working with people & providing excellent customer service.
• All employees are required to have a checking account, and be able to receive payment by direct deposit through a payroll company.
• Able to stand on your feet for many hours at a time.
