Administrative Generalist
Concha is seeking a part-time Business Administrator to support the function of the HR & Business Admin Manager, as well as the CEO on occasion. The ideal team member will have a strong desire to work in a human-forward company, with experience and eagerness to support these functions, in addition to being meticulously organized, able to prioritize work and optimize time. More importantly, the willingness to adapt, be flexible and open to learning new things and partnering with team members to ensure the Concha Crew is supported and able to do their best work at all times. This new and exciting position will have a lot of autonomy and be project focused, while working collaboratively, under the supervision of the HR & Business Administrative Manager. This position will be vital for ensuring our business functions are fully supported as we take our journey to launch and help over 1.5 billion people here more clearly. We are Concha! Responsibilities/Experience:
- Take ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Process global payroll in a variety of platforms, including: Gusto, Intuit, PEOs, etc.
- Full-cycle recruitment: collaborate with internal stakeholders and decision-makers to help grow our teams through understanding, listening and engaging - then applying best practices in all hiring efforts, start to finish
- Eagerly problem solve, be resourceful and refine administrative systems already in place
- Support team and CEO with administrative responsibilities including, but not limited to: maintaining, documenting personnel files; owning the responsibility of being a trusted touchpoint for all team members; maintaining calendar and scheduling events; creating POs and overseeing contracts and NDA compliances, and more projects as needed
- Manage users with Google Business Suite and other company platforms, administering users accounts and setting up repositories and drives accordingly
- Help team work with external vendors and consultants through effective and refined communication
- Support/Administer comprehensive benefits programs and be a trusted liaison for our team members and our providers
Required Qualifications:
- Entrepreneurial spirited - a team player who is both coachable and can effectively problem solve
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability by handling day-to-day challenges confidently and willingly
- Excellent interpersonal skills in line with Concha’s core values
- Deep curiosity about the hearing loss user journey
- Proven ability and eagerness to interact as an effective team member
- At least 3 years of professional communication experience
- Experience in an support role where teamwork, collaboration and autonomy were critical
- Energetic, results-oriented professional with team-first attitude
- Strong desire to uphold Concha’s mission and be part of a rapidly growing start-up
- At least 1-3 years of experience in a directly comparable role, preferably with a digital health start-up, serving in an administrative support role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background working with an early stage, high-growth start up
- Background in seeing a product from seed stage through consumer launch…and beyond
- Personal connection to hearing loss and the strong desire to share our mission
- Background in hearing space - digital health, health-tech or med-tech industry
