Administrative Assistant - Law Department

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize conflicting needs and handle matters expeditiously and proactively to meet timelines
  • Serve as a champion and ambassador for our respectful and professional work culture
  • Handle details of a highly confidential sensitive nature which require in-depth knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures
  • Provide coordination and administrative support to attorneys in the Tenet Healthcare Law Department
  • Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks including document prep, meeting minutes, calendar management, travel planning, expense reporting, special projects and other tasks as helpful
  • Ensure smooth communication with administrative support across corporate departments, hospitals leadership offices as well as external parties

Profile of the Successful Candidate:

  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple workstreams and think like an air traffic controller to resolve schedule issues and prioritize work effectively
  • Ability and desire to provide world class support to attorneys operating at pace and managing frequent lastminute schedule changes
  • Strong intellect and a desire to learn will help the successful candidate to better understand the substance of activities and allow them to better anticipate needs or questions

Required Qualifications:

  • Flawless track record and unwavering commitment to managing confidential information with the highest level of discretion
  • 3+ years of experience as an administrative assistant
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
