Administrative Associate - College of Law
Description: The Administrative Associate (AA) performs extensive administrative services and diversified tasks for the College of Law Career Services Office and Advancement Office. The AA monitors all Career Services and Advancement Office general phone calls and email accounts. The AA initiates correspondence, prepares reports, and manages annual mailings for the Advancement and Alumni Affairs Office in the College of Law and alerts the Senior Director of Advancement when problems of concern arise. The AA may supervise college student workers. The AA reports equally to each department.

Required Experience And Abilities
Candidates are required to have an Associate's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an emphasis on oral and written communication, events planning, office management, public relations, and intermediate computer skills required.
Bachelor's Degree and 1-4 years of work experience is preferred .
The Administrative Associate Must
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database programs.
  • Have strong data entry and word processing skills and attention to detail required.
  • Be a motivated, self-starter, able to tackle complex projects with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to transport materials for events/programs to and from site, which includes lifting of up to 25 lbs. and some driving.
  • Have excellent written, verbal, organization, critical thinking, and customer-service skills.
  • Mature judgment, confidentiality, accuracy, close attention to detail, and the ability to work successfully in a team-oriented environment.
