Your Job

Molex in Lincoln is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join the team! This individual will assist to the Director of Operations and related staff in administrative activities, coordinate logistics for client and corporate visits, as well as services related to reception.

With a presence in more than 40 countries, Molex offers a full suite of solutions and services for many markets, including data communications, consumer electronics, industrial, automotive, commercial vehicle and medical.


This role will primarily be part-time. The hours will be roughly from 20-25 hours per week.

What You Will Do

  • Maintaining and scheduling meetings through Microsoft Outlook.
  • Coordinating both domestic and international travel arrangements; this includes obtaining proper visa for entry into certain countries and renewing passports as needed.
  • Collect and work with data.
  • Managing and drafting internal and external communications, including but not limited: all-hands meetings, team meetings, and leadership sessions.
  • Perform an extensive array of administrative tasks for the executive team.
  • Creating and maintaining email distribution lists.
  • Run cadence of monthly staff meetings and other important meetings, including planning agenda, organization, and follow-up on action items.
  • Coordinate large meetings and events that includes internal and external attendees in remote offices.
  • Reconciling purchasing card statements and preparing expense reports.
  • Act as a liaison, problem solver, and facilitator as the first contact for leaders.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


  • Microsoft office domain - Office Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Teams and other collaboration tools (SharePoint, Teams Live, other).
  • 1+ Years of Administrative Assistant Experience.
  • Experience working virtually with global and remote based teams.
  • Expert working knowledge and experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to collect data and support analysis efforts (e.g., employee feedback).
  • Demonstrated experience and ability around organization, critical thinking, problem solving, ability to leverage available resources, effective communication, relationship managing, prioritization of work, desire, and ability to learn.
  • Experience contributing to and evaluating internal communications (adding content, analysis of readership, etc.).

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Background in manufacturing, technology and customer experience is a plus.
  • Experience using Power BI.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in administration or related degree.
  • 5+ years of Administrative Assistant Experience.
