What Will I Be Doing?


The primary over-riding duty of the Administrative Assistant is to provide support and serve as a Receptionist for the office. Including but not limited to the following:


  • Participate in the PQI process and strategic planning process.
  • Assist in operating the information management system (Carelogic) for client records, enter data as requested, and produce reports as requested.
  • Maintain and update filing and inventory.
  • Assist and participate in conducting client chart audits.
  • Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work.
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email.
  • Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions and give further information about HCA.
  • Assist the Office Manager or Program Director in preparing agendas and making arrangements for new staff orientation and training, and other meetings.

The Administrative Assistant will provide sensitivity to the service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics as well as diversity of employees in providing administrative services.


Qualifications:


At minimum, a high school diploma. Associates Degree in Business or Administrative Support field is preferred with at least 1 year’s work, intern, or volunteer experience in administrative/clerical or a Human Services background.
