Location: The North Ga Health District- Dalton, Ga
CMS Dept.

Additional duties performed within the Children with Special Needs Department:

• Assist in scheduling C1st home visits.
• Provide translation for families at in-house clinics as back up only (would include x-ray tech, medical doctors, orthotics, wheelchair vendor, and geneticist through Tele-Medicine).
• Entering data into SendSS
• Attends Health Transition Workshop and other health fairs as needed- may include a Saturday.
• Translates printed material that is utilized in CMS as needed.
• Assists nurses with translation when meeting with families, either in person (by appointment, walk-ins) or over the phone.
• Accompanies nurses on home visits (local and out of town) to complete initial/annual paperwork.
• Maintain Children with Special Needs Departments Inventory
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Assists in phone coverage within the Children With Special Needs Department, as well as administration on and as needed basis; filling as needed/warranted.
• Assists in gathering quarterly report information for CMS Coordinator

High School diploma or GED AND Two years of general office or administrative experience.
Must be bilingual in English/Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Knowledge of SendSS and M&M data system

Primarily sedentary, light physical work with limited to no unusual conditions. Indicate if occasional lifting of 45IBs. Or more.
