Responsibilities
We are actively seeking a Clinical Research Scientist to join Seattle Children's Research Institute. The successful candidate will join an interdisciplinary study team with a focus on environmental health and the impact of chemicals on child health and development. The Clinical Research Scientist will work closely with the study Principal Investigator to lead the implementation and ongoing support of complex and rigorous study protocols across several study sites and institutions. This will include project management and administrative tasks, overseeing quality control processes for data and biospecimen collection, and periodic review and update of study protocols. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience related to environmental health and epidemiology and be able to independently implement and lead grant-based study activities including working with the institutional review board to managing regulatory activities, and direct supervision of a team of study coordinators. Direct clinical experience with a pediatric population is preferred but not required. More information about the ongoing study projects can be found here:
Requirements
- Pediatric research experience.
- Minimum of four (4) years of related research experience.
- Advanced degree in scientific related field (Master's, PhD, MD).
- Pediatric research experience.
- CITI certification.
Min to Max Hourly Salary$43.17 - $64.75 /hr
Min to Max Annual Salary$89,793.60 - $134,680.00 /yr
Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.

Seattle Children's offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
