Accounts Payable Lead (Contract)

Korn Ferry Interim is partnering with a client near the Greenway Plaza area in their search for an Accounts Payable Lead on a contract to hire basis. This role will be located 100% in office.

Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle accounts payable for separate entities and vendors in multiple currencies
• Entering non-PO invoices and code when needed, including allocations for billable and non-billable charges and confirm all key attributes are accurate including department, class and location
• Comparing prices, terms of payment, and other charges
• Manage Vendor Master Files, including set-up & maintenance of records, validation of payment instructions, and establishing and maintaining relationship with new and existing vendors
• Manage the accounting inbox
• Processing 1099's annually
• Close AP at the end of each month seeking continuous opportunities to improve data information for the business, including performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries, and reconciling books of accounts
• Processing payments and maintaining bank information in the treasury, approval routing and accounting systems
• Ensuring bills and payments are processed in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures and accounts payable best practices

Requirements:

• Experience with NetSuite, Concur and/or Kyriba systems preferred, but not required
• 5+ years of full cycle Accounts Payable experience
• Understanding of fundamental financial principles including US GAAP and IFRS
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
