Job Description

Our client is a mission-driven innovator in the healthcare space. With continued growth across the division, we've been engaged to help find an AP Accountant to support the wider finance team. It’s a smaller environment where you’ll gain exposure to a range of tasks including monthly closing processes, journal entries, account reconciliations, and auditor reviews.


This is a highly visible role where you'll experience the whole business operation. You'll work alongside an experienced and well-tenured group of mentors, and have the opportunity to explore new areas of accounting and finance.


*Please note: This is an onsite role (with hybrid flexibility down the line) based out of their HQ a few miles northwest of Boston*


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain accounting policies and procedures with accuracy
  • Review Sales/AR and Purchases/AP transactional posting
  • Participate in SOX testing and auditor reviews
  • Support interim and monthly management reporting
  • Manage monthly account reconciliations
  • Perform monthly trial balance and closing
  • Prepare journal entries
