Accounts Payable Accountant Jobs

The AP Accountant is responsible for performing all accounting and clerical duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions in an accurate and timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month/quarter/year end close
• Remote deposits
• Prepare weekly check runs
• Perform all tasks in a timely and accurate manner
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
• Vendor set up/maintenance
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
• Review employee expenses in Navan (Time and Expense platform), including verification of receipts and coding
• Manage the full accounts payable cycle from receipt of invoices to payment, including coding invoices, 3-way matching, and entering the invoices in bill.com (150-200 invoices/week)
• Maintain a positive attitude and provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers
• Perform other duties as required to support the Accounting Department

Qualifications

• 2+ years clerical accounting experience (A/P and Reconciliations)

• Associate degree in accounting or relevant field.

• Understanding of GAAP Accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, reporting a plus

• Intermediate Excel

• Effective written and oral communication

• Software: NetSuite, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams), Bill.com, Navan
