Job Description


Multifamily Utility Company, a San Diego-based Utility Billing and Submetering Company, has an exciting job opening, Remote-Client Account Specialist. We are looking for an organized people person who values relationships and enjoys working in a fast- paced environment. This person is comfortable working both as part of a team and independently, is an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, and is experienced working with the Microsoft Office Suite. The Account Specialist II's primary role is to provide client support and serve as the client's liaison to Multifamily Utility Company to achieve its vision and strategic objectives, with our largest clients as a priority.The ideal candidate will have prior Multifamily experience, preferable in the Utility Billing and Submetering Industry or in Property Management.


Duties of the Client Account Specialist


  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure client needs are fulfilled effectively.
  • Monitoring company performance against service level agreements and flagging potential issues.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and key personnel within customer companies.
  • Working closely with Sales Executives.
  • Escalating and resolving areas of concern as raised by clients.
  • Conducting business reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with their products and services.
  • Attending meetings with clients to build relationships with existing accounts as needed.
  • Ensuring all new clients are setup and trained on our portal, including follow up training as needed.
  • Updating the CRM per policy to ensure transparency throughout the organization.
  • Achieving client relationship targets and KPI's as set by the Department Manager and Director of Operations
  • Carrying out client satisfaction surveys and reviews.


Qualifications And Experience


  • Solid work ethic and high level of professional integrity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • At least 2 years previous experience working as a client relationship manager or a track record of managing client relationships.
  • Previous experience in the multi-family Industry a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in both individual and in a team environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office.


Job Type: Full-time (Non-Exempt)


Salary: $23.00 per hour

  • Must have good driving record
  • B.S. degree preferred
