Job Description
Summary


The Field Account Executive is responsible for:


  • They will drive conversion through coaching of the selling staff, negotiating for additional space and resources to support promotional activities, creating, and overseeing event execution, and using insight to influence schedule optimization.
  • The delivery of retail sales targets which will be achieved through building relationships with retail store teams and through the recruitment, management, development, and leadership of the freelancer team.
  • They will drive client acquisition through outreach, client management, and social influence.
  • Oversight of visual merchandising execution, and by building collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in the store and retail community.


Essential Responsibilities


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Create an open and collaborative environment that influences the sales teams of Ulta, Nordstrom, Macy’s, and other retail partners.
  • Plan and execute in-store events, ensuring sales targets are met and strong ROI is achieved.
  • Build strong relationships with store management, regional/district managers, event managers, education managers and retail store associates within multiple retail locations.
  • Partnership with Account Coordinator for events within region above $2.5K sales goal.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of all products as well as ingredients.
  • Training for new door openings within region in person or virtually.
  • Accountable for strengthening brand identity by creating visual merchandising consistency within each store and ensuring inventory and operational standards are met.
  • Responsible for driving retail sales and executing strategies and initiatives within each retail partner to achieve of sales plans.
  • Provide competitive feedback to Sr. Director and SVP.
  • Additional tasks as assigned.
  • Ensure all locations consistently support our product and marketing campaigns through customer interactions, trainings, and successful execution of visual direction.
  • Meet all deadlines for requests including calendar, call cycle, expenses, and event recaps. Understand retail partner protocols, support, and adhere to their policies.
  • Responsible for on-going product training for retail accounts within assigned retail territory (i.e., rounds robins, clusters, and side by side selling).
  • Plan and manage budgets (i.e., T&E, freelance) in partnership with the Sr. Sales Director and SVP.
  • Evaluates retail trends to determine resource movements against sales.
  • Provide weekly sales recaps of personnel and freelance team performance.
  • Responsible for recruiting, hiring, inspiring, scheduling, developing, and retaining productive freelance and ensure they achieve “sales per hour” and “items per transaction” goals.
  • Provide best-in-class shopper experience to attract and retain customers.
  • Manage regional call cycle for in-store visits and virtual call cycle for regional outreach in partnership with the Sr. Director of Retail.

Qualifications & Characteristics


  • Ability to solve problems and resolve customer concerns.
  • Ability to recruit, hire, inspire, and develop a high-performing in-store freelance sales team.
  • Ability to provide best-in-class customer experience.
  • Ability to stand for 4 hours or more.
  • Prior skincare/cosmetic sales experience (2-5 years preferred) or equivalent retail sales.
  • Ability to work as a team and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to plan and manage budgets (i.e., freelance selling, sampling, event, and T&E budgets).
  • Ability to work collaboratively & build positive/effective business partnerships.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrate patience.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including night, weekend and/or holiday shifts.
  • You possess a high school diploma or the equivalent.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management in a fast paced, high growth, changing environment.
