$70,000/Year - Student Account Specialist

Description

Our client has an opening for a Student Account Specialist who will serve students, staff, and parents. You will collaborate with other University Departments to provide consistent delivery of services and information.

Requirements

• Outreach to students via telephone, email, and text message. Meet with students in person and virtually.
• Maintain and distribute reports for counselors to follow up on students with missing items and balance due.
• Primary office contact for students with current outstanding balances
• Work collaboratively with staff from the Student Accounts Office and University Business Office
• Create a communication schedule for contacting our students in a timely manner on pertinent topics
• Serve as primary liaison with the university's third-party party billing and payment plan partner.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate well by telephone and email, in addition to face-to-face interactions
• Proven experience in student personnel administration, preferably in financial aid or student accounts
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree
