$130k/year Accounting Manager

Our client is looking for a qualified candidate who would want to apply as an Accounting Manager to be responsible for operational and reporting aspects as well as ad hoc reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and Managing Directors for General Partner entities.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing ad hoc financial projects for the Chief Financial Officer and various Managing Directors at the Firm
• Assisting in the onboarding of new members of the General Partnership and quarterly and annual tax process for the General Partner entities alongside the Firm's tax department
• Participating in the management of a high-functioning team responsible for quarterly and annual reporting, financial statement preparation, treasury functions, and operations
• Reviewing individual quarterly and annual reporting packages for Managing Directors, Principals, and Vice Presidents that detail investments across all funds at the Firm

Requirements

• Technical experience with general ledger accounting systems and reporting software and advanced knowledge of MS office products
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in interpreting and analyzing complex partnership agreements, securities agreements, and various other legal documents
• A Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA required
