About The Opportunity


  • One of the most experienced and well-respected construction teams that offers affordable housing for 47 years. Located in New York, New York is looking for Estimators to join their growing team
  • You will be responsible for coordinating all project budgeting, including preparing quantity surveys, obtaining subcontractor pricing, and reviewing historical cost data


Estimator Responsibilities


  • Collect different quotes from subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
  • Establishes collaborative relationships with a wide variety of people to achieve goals
  • Estimates multi-type projects including housing, apartments
  • Analyze company data, monitor budgets and prices using software packages
  • Oversee the different stages of a company project to ensure that expenses follow the forecast plan


Estimator Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related discipline required
  • Ability to coordinate construction document plans, details, and specifications
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • 3+ years of experience in estimating, or equivalent
