The project manager will support Book of the Month’s Creative team in all aspects of output from concept to launch.

Experience reporting into Creative leadership, or an understanding of how Creative process works (and how to best foster it).

Own the briefing and Creative process, end-to-end, while communicating upward and often to ensure on-time, and accurate project completion.

Create a flawless system of onboarding freelancers — possessing a gut instinct of when they are needed.

Technically proficient communicator who can translate business language and requirements to technical teams and vice versa

Requirements gathering, documentation, use case development

Experience in designing strategies and leading change and growth initiatives

Proficient in use of project management and documentation tools.

Clearly define and document business stakeholder requirements.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $74,900- $88,500 and will be commensurate with experience.

Coordinate project related activities among architects, engineers, construction management firms, general contractors and government agencies.

Participates in development and issuance of project management policies and procedures.

Resolves issues identified in field reports compiled by architects, technical inspectors and construction management staff.

Senior Project Officer (Construction Management)

Ensures projects are constructed in accordance with the terms, conditions and requirements of contract documents, on time, within budget and safely.

Schedules and participates in meetings with Department of Education and Authority staff.

Assists in coordinating change in project direction, scope, benefits, costs, and timing while minimizing financial risks. Ensures adherence to same.

Zero or more years of experience in project planning

Experience in business administration, information technology, engineering or related field preferred

Organizational skills to balance and prioritize work, ability to deal with ambiguity and change

Assists in establishing objectives for small to medium sized projects to achieve business results by established, critical dates.

Assist in coordinating inter-project dependencies, resource allocation, release planning, technology and architecture to meet business needs.

Defining and creating user stories for IT, based on translating complicated requirements out of customer solicitations and RFPs

Manage testing of new development and defects as necessary

Capturing and calculating business benefits, both quantitative and qualitative

Three or more years of relevant work experience

Project managing multiple IT projects at any given time

Interfacing with cross functional counterparts daily

Strong time management and organizational skills
