Overview Benefits Operations Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of employee benefits programs. This includes overseeing the administration of employee benefits, such as health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans. The Benefits Operations Manager is also responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as developing and implementing policies and procedures related to employee benefits. Detailed Job Description The Benefits Operations Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of employee benefits programs. This includes overseeing the administration of employee benefits, such as health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans. The Benefits Operations Manager is also responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as developing and implementing policies and procedures related to employee benefits. The Benefits Operations Manager will also be responsible for managing the budget for employee benefits, and for developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and other stakeholders. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employee benefits
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in employee benefits administration
• Professional certification in Human Resources or related field (e.g. SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.)
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employee benefits
• Knowledge of budgeting and financial management
• Knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures
Job Experience
• 5+ years of experience in employee benefits administration
• Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures related to employee benefits
• Experience in managing budgets and financial operations
• Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and other stakeholders
Job Responsibilities
• Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to employee benefits
• Develop and implement policies and procedures related to employee benefits
