Required 2 years' experience in corporate wellness, health promotion, health education, chronic condition management, or weight/nutritional counseling

CHES or MCHES from the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing preferred

Wellness Program Design and Implementation

Implement annual strategic wellness program plan in alignment with Human Resources and Workforce Well-Being goals and services.

Foster an organizational culture of health and well-being.

Other duties as assigned to support Workforce Health & Well-Being Initiatives.

A master's degree in health education, Public Health, or Health Communication will substitute for 2 years of experience

Serves as a lead within the department and community for education, outreach, and collaboration to support departmental goals.

Mentors and precepts new staff on community education, program model, and patient first interaction

Serves as a lead in a content specific area based on experience and training

Develops, organizes, and implements programs that provide education, outreach, and collaboration aimed at individuals and organization culture change.

Coordinates and leads with manager support all aspects associated with assigned projects as needed.

Previous experience preferred, but not necessary.

Attend appropriate and needed training offered by the YMCA of Greater San Antonio.

Strong relationship driven personality with strong social and communication skills. Must be an expert in providing great member service.

Excellent interpersonal, public relations and written communication skills are required. Must also be comfortable with oral presentations.

Employee must have working knowledge of a Mac environment, Gmail, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Certifications required within the first week of hire: Redwoods Bloodborne Pathogens, Defensive Driving, and Hazardous Communications
