Water Resources Technician Jobs

Knowledge with cGMP, OSHA, and all other environmental regulations.

Direct hands-on experience with water for mixing RO beds, EDI and or distillation columns.

Knowledge to trouble shoot all types of mechanical items.

Daily maintenance both electrical and mechanical to certify systems performing perfectly.

Troubleshooting through computer, electrical, and mechanical to repair what needs to be properly functioning.

Understand the pure water systems and all other equipment within the facility.

Coordinates educational opportunities for Osceola County staff articulated in the Phase II MS4 Stormwater Management Program.

Knowledge of NPDES, floodplain and stormwater management concepts.

Tracks County Best Management Practices articulated in the Phase II MS4 Stormwater Management Program and prepares reports for the NPDES permit.

Assists and coordinates educational outreach requirements for permitting and compliance of programs.

Conducts education and outreach events involving the general public as it pertains to the NPDES permit.

Participates in local Florida Stormwater, Erosion and Sedimentation Control Inspector Training and Certification Control Inspector Training and Certification workshops.

Provide assistance to operators on projects

Operate and service trucks, backhoes, forklifts, generators, engines, pumps and various other types of equipment

Work as part of a crew but also expected to work without supervision to accomplish task if required

10+ years of experience as a hydrology and hydraulic design engineer and water resource design experience.

Engineering plans and specifications, construction standards and methods, design standards, safety practices and codes, project management, and District’s work authorization procedures.

Regulatory requirements applicable to the District, District policies and procedures.

Develop scope of work, schedules, cost estimates, methods, and manage projects through completion.

Two (2) years related engineering experience.

Four (4) years related engineering experience.

Six (6) years related engineering experience.

Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)

Experience with water meter repair, exchange, testing or reading experience with meters ranging from 5/8" domestic to 2" commercial

Experience with AMI Meter maintenance

Experience using the following equipment: air compressor, motorized pump, hand/power tools

I have experience performing water meter repair

Maintain Analytical equipment and creating Statistical reports (Preventative Excursion Management Systems).

Military experience with 1+ years of experience in Ultra-Pure water operations or facilities.

As a Facilities UPW Technician your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Work as an Ultra-Pure water technician.

Interact with engineering as well as other operation technicians maintaining ultra-pure water systems. 

Operate and maintain ultra-pure water systems that support Technology Development (TD) facilities.
