Overview Unemployment Insurance Adjudicators are responsible for determining eligibility for unemployment insurance benefits. They review and analyze claims, investigate discrepancies, and make decisions on whether or not to approve or deny benefits. Adjudicators must be knowledgeable of state and federal laws and regulations related to unemployment insurance. Detailed Job Description Unemployment Insurance Adjudicators are responsible for determining eligibility for unemployment insurance benefits. They review and analyze claims, investigate discrepancies, and make decisions on whether or not to approve or deny benefits. Adjudicators must be knowledgeable of state and federal laws and regulations related to unemployment insurance. They must be able to interpret and apply these laws and regulations to individual cases. Adjudicators must also be able to communicate effectively with claimants, employers, and other parties involved in the claims process. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to unemployment insurance

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, law, or a related field
• Previous experience in a legal or administrative role
• Knowledge of unemployment insurance laws and regulations
• Ability to interpret and apply laws and regulations to individual cases
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to make decisions based on facts and evidence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to unemployment insurance
• Knowledge of unemployment insurance laws and regulations
• Knowledge of legal principles and procedures
• Knowledge of administrative procedures
Job Experience
• Previous experience in a legal or administrative role
• Previous experience in a customer service role
• Previous experience in a claims processing role
Job Responsibilities
• Review and analyze claims to determine eligibility for unemployment insurance benefits
• Investigate discrepancies and make decisions on whether or not to approve or deny benefits
• Communicate effectively with claimants, employers, and other parties involved in the claims process
• Interpret and apply state and federal laws and regulations related to unemployment insurance
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Prepare reports and other documents as needed
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
