2 years of experience making outbound calls as a Medical Assistant

2 years of experience with chart review

Organized and with strong communication skills written and verbal.

EMR experience (i.e., EPIC system, E-clinical works, and Allscripts).

Critical thinking; able to work alone and be self-directed.

Population health or valued-based care.

Must be certified with a minimum of 300 hours of experience in Yoga

This position requires onsite work and is not eligible for remote work.

Teaches 1-3 instructional wellness courses per semester

Plans and leads exercise and/or classroom learning sessions for the following course:

Must maintain records of student’s participation and performance

Maintain one weekly office hour; attend departmental meetings

Applies effective leadership skills to facilitate growth and improvement within health education programming and services.

Knowledge of current teaching methods and pedagogy in Health Education, including the differentiation of instruction based upon student learning differences.

Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws regarding education and students.

Develops curriculum and supervises writing and revisions for Health Education grades K-12.

Complies with federal time and effort reporting requirements.

Knowledge of health/wellness promotion including equitable, inclusive, and diverse instructional practices based on student differences.

Bachelors’ Degree in an appropriate discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience

Organize teaching schedules for undergraduate and graduate courses offered by the department.

Typically, 0 – 6 months of administrative work experience.

Excellent written and verbal skills, as demonstrated at the working proficiency level.

Basic knowledge of University policies, procedures and regulations.

Basic experience with website maintenance.

Provide one-on-one instruction on proper use of exercise equipment for optimal benefits based on health status and goals.

Attains and maintains a thorough working knowledge of each piece of exercise equipment and communicates safe usage to Center members/guests.

Understands and enforces Center policies and procedures with members/guests using excellent customer service skills.

Maintains a current knowledge of industry developments and new programs and proposes additions, as appropriate to best serve our clientele.

Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required.

Minimum of one year experience in a wellness/fitness setting preferred.
