Specialist Iii – Health And Wellness – Curriculum Jobs in Texas

Must be certified with a minimum of 300 hours of experience in Yoga

This position requires onsite work and is not eligible for remote work.

Teaches 1-3 instructional wellness courses per semester

Plans and leads exercise and/or classroom learning sessions for the following course:

Must maintain records of student’s participation and performance

Maintain one weekly office hour; attend departmental meetings

Applies effective leadership skills to facilitate growth and improvement within health education programming and services.

Knowledge of current teaching methods and pedagogy in Health Education, including the differentiation of instruction based upon student learning differences.

Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws regarding education and students.

Develops curriculum and supervises writing and revisions for Health Education grades K-12.

Complies with federal time and effort reporting requirements.

Knowledge of health/wellness promotion including equitable, inclusive, and diverse instructional practices based on student differences.

Applies effective leadership skills to facilitate growth and improvement within health education programming and services.
