Solar Hse Manager Jobs

Minimum 5 years management experience and 10 years HSE experience

Manage all HSE activities within the operational context (i.e., ensure plans, tools, and processes are in place to allow for success).

Facilitate and coordinate HSE training that addresses strategic priorities, regulatory requirements, and growth of individuals.

Experience in transforming safety culture,

Professional certification is a plus (i.e., CSP, CIH, etc.),

Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking capability,

Ensures the company meets legal requirements and government reporting regulations.

Assists managers with recruiting, interviewing, screening, and hiring qualified employees to fill vacant positions.

Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues.

Three years of relevant HR and HSE experience within a manufacturing environment.

Experience with DOT regulation is preferred.

Reliable and personable; enjoy working with diverse individuals and ensuring employee requirements and needs are met first.

A college degree or equivalent work experience in construction management or quality control

Direct and train skilled labor in various procedures

Knowledge of reinforcement and concrete placement, product testing, civil construction processes

Manage quality technicians during construction

Travel is a requirement of this position.

Capable of reading and understanding shop drawings, mix designs, geotechnical reports, turbine suppliers manuals, and engineered drawings

Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders

A knowledge of and ability with leadership skills including mediation skills

Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job

Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines

Skills demonstrating the capability to run a medium to large project

Strong presentation skills including public speaking

Strong ability to manage multiple priorities

Passion for learning new skills and concepts

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Working knowledge of CRM applications

5+ years of professional experience.

Experience with solar monitoring DAS platforms and alerts.

Significant experience in HSE field

Minimum 10 years of experience in operational, sales and financial management positions

Prepare regular reports for upper management

Oversee risk management and ensure compliance

Works closely with the Board of Directors and Executive Management Team on strategic vision and planning

Help manage capital investments and expenses aggressively to ensure that the company achieves investor targets for growth and profitability

Deep Knowledge of solar module manufacturing equipment and processes

Provide energy storage subject matter expertise to origination, development, project management, construction, commissioning, and operations groups.

Knowledge and experience in supporting project delivery from commissioning to commercial operations.

Understanding of performance and talent management principles and best practices.

Knowledge of project financing and independent engineer requirements.

Familiarity with electrical standards (UL/IEEE), National Electrical Code, NFPA requirements, and U.S. utility interconnection standards.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; Master's degree and Professional Engineering Certification preferred.

Minimum Required Education, Credentials, Licenses and Experience:

Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Have a thorough knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental principles and best practices.

Minimum of 8 years work experience within HSE or related equivalent function.

Experience of implementation, development or auditing of management systems; OHSAS 18001/ISO45001, ISO50001, ISO14001, ISO9001

Support and implement robust risk management systems.

Chair HSE committee meetings and conduct periodical management reviews.

Management of internal HSE audits and external compliance audit programme, supporting 5S audits.

Support managers to secure meaningful employee involvement in HSE.

Work together with site leadership on budget and finance planning as per site strategy.

Interested in and have 2-3 years management experience in renewable energy and energy markets.

Enforce consistent, high-quality deliverables to our asset management software platform from subcontractors and internal staff.

Identify opportunities to improve asset health through inventory, sustainability, and partner management.

Flexibility through proper time management to support the team or specific members with high-priority items not exclusive to the defined portfolio.

Practices excellent time management with a strong ability to multitask.

Plan, manage and review all maintenance activities for our C&I solar assets.

Comprehensively develop a strong corporate safety culture and Environmental, Health & Safety Management System (EHSMS) for the team.

Perform catastrophic event management and investigations for owner operations and utility scale power projects across North America.

Participate in vendor pre-qualification analysis as pertaining to HSE performance, compliance, and capability.

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field. Advanced degree and professional HSE certification preferred.

CSP (CUSP preferred) certification (required). Other certifications such as ASP, CHST, STSC, CHMM, NCSO, CHSC, CRSP are welcomed.

Conduct HSE risk audits, assessments, and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks and develop mitigation action plans.

Attend the Contractors’ preconstruction kick-off meetings to discuss overall safety requirements of the Contractor as it relates to JV’s safety program.

Minimum 5 years of demonstrated professional experience in a similar leadership role in managing Construction Health and Safety

Demonstrated experience as change agent, influencing construction/HSE behaviors for the better

Demonstrated and successful experience in making objective and positive improvements in safety

Strong interpersonal and communications skills to engage with multiple stakeholders including owner, contractors, A/E’s, JV staff, etc.

Coordinate with program staff to ensure that adequate safety resources and PPE are available and used properly to support project safety.
